TWO NEW FEATURES ALLOW ENTERPRISES TO RAPIDLY DEPLOY NEW APPLICATIONS TO REMOTE SITES WHILE REDUCING INSTALLATION COSTS:
Now enterprises can easily provision, configure, and manage their corporate and remote network of Tenors from one location. This will facilitate rapid
deployment of new applications, and greatly reduce initial installation costs, AND will also greatly facilitate management of the entire network!
Auto-Discovery:
The Auto-discovery interface on Tenors allows enterprise IT managers to identify all Tenors being deployed on their local and remote sites, by their IP
Address, serial number, software version, and description. This information is transmitted to the Configuration Manager GUI to allow configuration of
individual Tenors from a single console.
Auto-Provisioning
VoIP application vendors and ISVs can now integrate Tenor’s auto-provisioning interface with their own application, creating a single user interface that
allows them to configure the Tenor, transparently, as part of the overall application. When the Tenor is installed it will automatically signal the
application server to request the download of the relevant configuration file for that specific Tenor. The result is a simpler, cleaner user experience
while assuring the gateway is configured consistent with the overall application.
The central system will download the specific configuration file to bring up that particular remote Tenor and connect it to the VoIP network. All
provisioning interactions are carried out using standard secure signaling protocols with individual unit authentication to insure maximum system integrity.
In addition to providing this rapid auto-provisioning service, this mechanism can also be used for automatic software upgrades and other system maintenance
tasks.
And, with Quintum’s external Remote Management Session Server, even Tenors deployed behind enterprise NAT firewalls can be easily evaluated, upgraded and
configured.
